Nestled on the edge of Southeast Asia, Myanmar is a spectacular place full of rich culture, cuisine and must-see historical sites.

Your tour begins with a short flight to Mandalay and some of the world's most famous pagodas. A river cruise trip will allow you to explore local villages on your way to Bagan. Bagan is a truly mesmerising destination and a favourite of many travellers filled with more than 2000 pagodas, temples and monasteries.

After a few days in Bagan, you'll make your way through beautiful sceneries to Inle Lake. Dotted with stilt-house villages and floating gardens of the Intha Tribe, Inle Lake will let you experience how the local Burmese live every day. 

Lastly, you'll make your way to Yangon with a couple of days to explore the city's sights and wrapping up your wonderful Myanmar adventure.

Day 1

Australia Myanmar

Your adventure starts today with your flight to Yangon. “Mingalabar” – “Welcome to Myanmar” at the airport by your tour guide. You will then be transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

Yangon and Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and take the short flight to Mandalay. Once at Mandalay, you’ll be met and transferred to the hotel. After some refreshments at the hotel, start sightseeing for Mandalay that will include most of the city’s outstanding historical and cultural sites.

KuThoDaw Pagoda is known as the world’s biggest book. ShweNanDaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) is famous for its wood carving. Mandalay Royal Palace, the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy. MaHaMuNi Pagoda, famous for its life-like Buddha image.

Then, you will be driven to the famous U Bein Bridge for a stunning sunset view. The U Bein Bridge is 1.2-kilometres (0.75 mi) long, built around 1850 and believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (at your own expense) before heading back to the hotel.

Day 3


River Cruise Trip to Bagan from Oct to March / Fly to Bagan from April to September.

Start the day with a beautiful sunrise on RV PANORAMA, enjoying breakfast on the upper deck under the warm sunlight and gentle breeze. Travel downstream from Mandalay to Bagan, exploring a typical village at a river bank of the Ayeyarwaddy. Delicious Myanmar cuisine will await you for lunch and you may choose to spend some time relaxing as you sunbathe on the sun deck. As an additional service, our crew team will demonstrate different ways of wearing Myanmar Traditional Longyi (garment worn by Myanmar people) and Thanatkha (a fragrant paste made from the bark of Thanatkha tree). Day 4


Bagan is a truly mesmerizing destination and a favourite of many travellers. Renowned as the city of four million pagodas, this is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia. Today there are more than 2,000 pagodas, temples and monasteries — most built during the Bagan Dynasty, founded by King Anawrahta in 1044.

Firstly, we’ll go to the lively Nyaung U Market where your guide will help you to discover a variety of Burmese traditional breakfasts. There will be great photo opportunities with the chance to mingle with the local Myanmar people and watch how they conduct their daily lives. Afterwards, you will have your breakfast at a local tea house, which is situated next to the market.

The sightseeing program today will include the local highlights of Shwe-Zi-Gon Pagoda, Hti-Lo-Min-Lo Temple, Ananda Temple, That-Byin-Nyu Temple, Dham-Ma-Yan-Gyi Temple. End the day with views of an unforgettable sunset over the plains from Nyang Lat Phet Hill.

Day 5


Today is your own day at leisure in Bagan.

Perhaps, you can take a half day trip to Mt. Popa (at your own expense), the core of an extinct volcano lasted active 25,000 years ago; also known as the ‘Mt Olympus’ of Myanmar, the abode of Myanmar’s most powerful Nats (spiritual beings) and the most important Nat Worship Centre. On the way to Mount Popa, stop to see skilful toddy-palm climber collecting the wine on top of the tree, toddy palm juice & palm sugar (jaggery) making cottage.

For your afternoon free time, you can rent an e-bike (at own cost) to explore more of Bagan’s temples and to witness the true local life. For the sunset time, you can hire a boat (at own cost)  to enjoy the sunset along the mighty Irrawaddy river.

Day 6

Inle Lake

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. On arrival, proceed to Pindaya by car (about 2 hrs drive). This drive will give you delightful sceneries of hill station by passing through picturesque landscapes. Huge Banyan Trees near Pindaya caves are also well known for a photo stop. Then visit Pindaya Caves where one can enjoy a countless number of Buddha images from the late 18th centuries. Well known for its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.

Next stop is a traditional cottage industry of umbrella making and Pone Ta Lote Lake. Then, proceed to Ayetharyar Vineyard to discover the ways of wine process and to taste the famous wine of Ayetharyar vineyard before transfer you to the hotel in Inle Lake.

Day 7

Inle Lake & Indein Village Boat Tour

Looking down over the lake from the Taunggyi road, Inle lies in an enormous carpet of greenery. Dotted around the lake are stilt-house villages and floating gardens of the Intha tribe. With our Inle Lake Boat Trip Day tour, you will experience a unique way of life that has lived on through generations, whilst exploring the culturally significant surrounds that form part of this beautiful region of Myanmar. You will be provided with a life jacket and each person will have a seat on the boat.

The sightseeing program today will include the local highlights of Phaung-daw-oo Pagoda, Nga-phe-chaung Monastery and the Floating Villages of Innpaw Khone, Pouk Par, and Ywa Ma, Khar Taw.

A visit to these sights provides deep insight into how the people on the lake make their living. Local fishermen use the unique TheIntha technique of leg rowing – where one leg is wrapped around the paddle to drive the blade through the water in a snake-like motion. The Loctus and silk weaving, boat making and cheroot making.

After lunch, proceed to Indein and take a short trek to Indein Pagoda. On the way, you can enjoy the serene atmosphere as you wander through artfully scattered 8th-century Pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes. Then observe Intha tribes Village lives and enjoy the local market along the shore. And then transfer to the hotel by boat.

Day 8

Inle Lake & Yangon

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Yangon (1 hour and 20 minutes). On arrival, our guide will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After some refreshments at the hotel, start sightseeing by walking around the city centre to enjoy the city being busy with the sellers on the street and also the pedestrians and Colonial Style buildings.

The sightseeing program today will include the local highlights of KaRaWeik Hall & Royal Lake, and BoGyoke Market (Scott Market). At the end of the day enjoy the sunset at ShweDaGon Pagoda, one of the spectacular monuments of Myanmar.

Depart Yangon
