Begin your trip in the amazing city of Rome, discovering the historical gems and cultural pleasures the Eternal City has to offer. Traverse through Italy’s other colourful cities, including Venice, where you can indulge in genuine Italian pizza and a gelato (or two, or three..). 

From there, continue your journey to Austria’s vibrant city of Vienna, hopping over the border to Budapest in Hungary to embark on a river cruise of the Danube, and then onto the spectacular city of Prague (boasting the best beer in Europe). Cross through breathtaking Germany, see the gorgeous canals of Amsterdam and enter France's City of Love in Paris. Day 1

Australia Rome

Depart today from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth for Rome!

Day 2

Rome

Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival, you'll hop into a private transfer to your hotel where you'll receive all the local information and some handy maps to get you exploring. (The check-in time is 3:00pm, so if you arrive a bit early we recommend a cheeky espresso and lunch around the corner)

In the evening, a transfer will be provided to Trastevere district. Some say it's Rome's favourite neighbourhood, but we'll let you be the judge. You'll have a chance to stroll around and grab a quintessential Italian dinner (at your own expense) before heading back to the hotel to catch some well-deserved zzz's.

Day 3

Rome

Experience some of the richest history in the world with a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to the “The Eternal City”. We will visit the tiny state of the Vatican, the principal centre in the world of Christianity. You will be able to visit the famous St Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums (own expense). Also included is admission to the incredible ruins of the Roman Coliseum (admission included), the famous symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2000 years and will transport you back in time to learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening, a transfer service will be provided to Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving different cuisines (own expense). Return to hotel around 9:00pm.

Day 4

Rome Florence

Enjoy the morning with beautiful scenic drive to Florence. Upon arrival, you will visit the most famous lookout of the Piazzale Michelangelo to capture the stunning views of Florence. Embark on a guided city tour in Florence before lunch. In the evening, enjoy an orientation tour with a local expert and walk through the historic centre and attractions including the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. You will have some free time to explore on you own and have dinner (own expense) at your favourite restaurant.

Day 5

Florence Venice

After breakfast, enjoy stunning mountain landscapes whilst crossing the Apennine Mountains to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice, prepare to be awestruck by an incredible adventure this afternoon through the beautiful city canals on a local water bus (Vaporetto). Experience the architectural marvels of Plaza de San Marcos on a comprehensive tour with a local guide and enter the marvellous Basilica (admission included), finalised with a demonstration of Murano crystal blowing at the Murano glass factory. Relax this afternoon and explore the city at your leisure. You will have the chance to choose your desired cuisine for dinner in the Mestre area (own expense).

Day 6

Venice Verona Salzburg

Head on to Verona, famous for its appearance in Shakespeare and being the home of Romeo and Juliet. Enjoy a self-guided visit to this delightful town where your tour guide will provide information on the places you'll be able to walk in Romeo and Juliet’s city- the city of lovers! Afterwards you'll continue your journey to Salzburg. Enjoy an orientation walking tour of its historic centre, also classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Note: The journey from Verona to Salzburg may be completed partially by train if there is only a few travellers.

Day 7

Salzburg Vienna

Enjoy a scenic drive from Salzburg to Vienna and arrive in the afternoon. Kick off with an orientation walking tour with a local expert to visit this vibrant city followed by Schönbrunn Palace where you can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful garden. In the evening, you will be transferred to the City Hall Square area. Why not indulge yourself and try some local cuisine such as schnitzel (own expenses)?

Day 8

Vienna

After breakfast, kick off with a perfect introduction walking tour with a local expert to visit this vibrant city and learn the fascinating stories of Vienna’s history. Along the Ringstrasse, you will see the magnificent building including the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts with its world-famous art treasures of the Habsburgs, the Natural History Museum, the City Hall, the Parliament and the Burg theatre. After that we will take you to south western district of the city to show you magnificent Schönbrunn Palace (entrance not included) where you can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. You will have free time to take a break at the café or visit the Schönbrunn Palace.

In the evening, you will be transferred to the City Hall Square area. Why not indulge yourself and try some local cuisine such as schnitzel (own expense).

Day 9

Vienna Budapest

You will be entering Hungary at lunchtime. Discover the wonders of “Queen of the Danube” as you savour the beauty of both Buda and Pest, which lie on opposite sides of the Danube on a two-hour discovery tour. You will be visiting the main sights including Heroes’ Square, the Parliament, the Opera House, and Fishermen’s Bastion. After lunch, enjoy a scenic river cruise along the Danube River ( boat tour admission included); enjoy superb views of the city and overlooking the Parliament. After the cruise you will have some free time to explore this beautiful city before transferred to Vaci Utca area for dinner (own expense).

Day 10

Budapest Bratislava Prague

After breakfast we will leave Budapest for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic centre. You will have a short city tour. After lunch, continue on to Prague. In the late afternoon, transfer will be provided to the Old Town Square. You will have time to stroll around this marvellous city and dine before you return to hotel.

Day 11

Prague

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel you will be visiting the capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Here you will meet a local expert who will provide a guided city tour which will start from the Prague Castle (admission included). As the Castle is on top of the hill you will walk by St Nicholas Church, Charles Bridge, St Vitus Cathedral and the Astronomical clock to the old town whilst learning of the fine history of these important monuments. The city tour takes about 3 hours and is a great one if you love walking. Later you'll board the romantic sightseeing cruise along the Moldava River (boat tour included). The afternoon and evening is yours to explore the city’s many attractions and you'll have the opportunity to try out some local cuisine (own expense). Transfer back to the hotel around 8.30pm – 9.30pm.

Day 12

Prague Lauf Wurzburg Frankfurt

Leave Prague for Frankfurt today with a quick visit to Lauf an der Pegnitz in the region of Bavaria, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this, drive through the beautiful scenery en route via the motorway to Wurzburg located on the Main river. After lunch continue your journey to Frankfurt. Upon arrival, explore the historic centre and choose your favourite restaurant to dine in (own expense) before return to hotel for check in.

Day 13

Frankfurt Cologne Amsterdam

Kick off your journey cruise (boat ride included) along the romantic Rhine from Frankfurt and take in the UNESCO listed wonders of the Rhine Valley between the villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar. After this, you will travel to Cologne, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then, continue travel to the final destination for today – Amsterdam. In the evening, you will be taken to Rembrandtplein, one of the busiest squares in the city with variety of restaurants.

Day 14

Zaanse Schans Windmills and Volendam Tour

Travel the world-famous fishing villages of Volendam in the morning followed by a scenic drive through the Dutch countryside to the village of Zaanse Schans. Visit the Cheese Farm (Tasting and admission included) and authentic windmills. Later watch the cutting and polishing of precious stones at a diamond factory (ticket included) in Amsterdam.

Later in the evening, you'll be provided with a transfer to the infamous Red Light District where you can grab dinner and explore the area.

Day 15

Amsterdam Brussels Bruges Paris

Leave for Brussels in the morning to spend some time in the Grand Place and take a pitstop to photograph the Atomium.

Later in Bruges, experience the marvelous Flemish city known as the “northern little Venice”. After lunch (own expense), continue to your destination for the day – Paris, France!

Day 16

Paris City Tour

After breakfast, you will be taking a guided orientation tour to discover the history and monuments of Paris. Ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower (ticket included) for a breathtaking view of the city followed by a boat cruise (boat ticket included) along the River Seine. Spend the rest of the day exploring the sights that interest you.

In the evening, a transfer will be provided to “Quartier Latin”, possessing a great dining atmosphere with a wide variety of international cuisines.

Day 17

Paris Rouen

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the heart of Paris near the area of the Louvre Museum.

Enjoy free time as you wish. If you like, you can be accompanied to Benlux, one of the most famous Duty-Free Shops with luxury items, fashion accessories, perfumes, cosmetics, and skincare in Paris. Alternatively, you can utilise your free time to explore the amazing Parisian sights and attractions, such as the second largest Museum in the world - The Louvre.

At around 5.30pm we leave Paris for Rouen, a city-museum with its houses and half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches. Accommodation in the city.

Day 18

Rouen Eperlecques Canterbury London

After breakfast, you will set off to Eperlecques in Northern France where you will visit a huge bunker in the middle of the forest (Admission Included) where V1 and V2 missiles were fired into UK.

Next, you'll leave on a ferry crossing the English Channel to reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England which was a pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. The medieval centre with cobbled streets is surrounded by ancient walls that were originally built by the Romans.

Continue to London, and in the evening you will be transferred to the lively Soho district where you can choose your own preferred restaurant.

Day 19

London City Tour

After breakfast, get to know London on a locally guided tour featuring style, culture, and history. See the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where you will be able to watch the famous "Changing of the Guard" (depending on the season).

Shortly afterwards, you will visit the British Museum, which is one of the main and oldest museums in the world where you can see relics from cultures all around the globe. If you wish, later on, you can go on an optional excursion to the “London Eye” ferris wheel.

In the afternoon after a period of free time, you are invited to a traditional English Afternoon Tea. Afterwards, we provide transfer to Camden, a district famous for having one of the most extravagant street markets in London where you can enjoy a choice of different restaurants for dinner.
