Day 1

Your journey begins today with a flight to scenic Switzerland!

Day 2

Zurich

Welcome to Zurich! A driver will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel. Leave your bags with the concierge and spend the rest of the day exploring the beauty that is Zurich. Public transport in Switzerland runs like clockwork and the fine chocolate flows freely. Your check in-time is 3:00pm.

Day 3

Zurich Grindelwald Lucerne Zurich

Start the day with a hot breakfast to prepare for today’s exploration of the beautiful landscapes of high mountains and lakes. On a clear day you may be able to see Jungfrau from the city centre. Take a stroll along Interlaken and follow to Grindelwald, also known as “Glacier Village”. Enjoy a quick coffee break before taking an unforgettable cable car ride (ticket included) to the Grindelward First and walk half an hour along the “footbridge over the empty” whilst absorbing the fantastic scenery of glaciers around you. You will have lunch (included) before visiting Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. After that you'll return to Zurich and have time to explore the city's dining options (own expense).

Day 4

Zurich Burglen Lugano Milan

You'll travel to BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, where you'll get to see the chapel from the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. Continue to Lugano, the cosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland, with its beautiful lake. Have lunch and take some time out with a relaxing stroll. Afterwards, following the shores of the lake, you'll reach the enchanting little town of Morcote, with its houses made of stone and covered with flowers. Once you arrive in Milan your guide will take you to the impressive Duomo Square. There will be time to dine at the Porta Venecia (Port of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants can be found to delight your palate. Choose from restaurants serving Swiss and Italian food, to French, Chinese and international options (own expense). Transfer to the hotel.

Day 5

Milan Pisa Rome

Enjoy a morning visit to one of the world’s most spectacular cathedrals and the galleries in the centre. Continue your journey to Pisa with a quick stop to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) and the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, the journey continues and you'll arrive in Rome at the end of the afternoon.

Day 6

Rome

Experience some of the richest history in the world with a scenic tour of the city, which gives a great introduction to the “The Eternal City”. Visit the tiny state of the Vatican, one of the principal centres in the world for Christianity. You'll have the opportunity to visit the famous St Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums (own expense). Walk around the incredible ruins of the Roman Coliseum (admission included), the famous symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2000 years and will transport you back in time to learn about the ancient society of the Roman Empire. In the evening, a transfer service will be provided to Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving a wide variety of different cuisines (own expense). Return to hotel around 9:00pm.

Day 7

Rome Florence

Enjoy the beautiful scenic drive to Florence. Upon arrival, you will visit the most famous lookout of the Piazzale Michelangelo to capture the stunning views of Florence. Embark on a guided city tour in Florence before lunch. In the evening, enjoy an orientation tour with a local expert and walk through the historic centre and attractions including the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. You will have some free time to explore on you own and have dinner (own expense) at your favourite restaurant.

Day 8

Florence Venice

After breakfast, enjoy stunning mountain landscapes whilst crossing the Apennine Mountains to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice, prepare to be awestruck by an incredible adventure this afternoon through the beautiful city canals on a local water bus (Vaporetto). Experience the architectural marvels of Plaza de San Marcos on a comprehensive tour with a local guide and enter the marvellous Basilica (admission included), and finish with a demonstration of Murano crystal blowing at the Murano glass factory. Relax this afternoon and explore the city at your leisure. You will have the chance to choose your desired cuisine for dinner in the Mestre area (own expense).

Venice

Dubrovnik

Kotor, Montengero
