Spend the night in Hamamatsu before making your way to the Toyokawa Inari Temple in Aichi prefecture, where you will have the opportunity to discover aspects of both Shinto and Buddhist architecture. Tokyo Mt. Fuji Hamamatsu
Today we depart Tokyo for the Mount Fuji area. Our first stop will be the Gotemba Peace Park, which offers stunning views of Mount Fuji, the symbol of Japan. We then continue on to the Mount Fuji World Heritage Centre, which offers a different perspective of the world-famous mountain from its viewing deck. The Centre also features interactive exhibitions, and you can even experience a virtual climb of Mount Fuji! After departing the Centre, we visit the Nihondaira Ocha Kaikan, Shizouka prefecture’s most famous tea specialist shop. Here, you can also catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji.

Hamamatsu Osaka
Today we travel to Osaka, stopping by Toyokawa Inari in Aichi prefecture along the way. Toyokawa Inari is one of Japan’s “big 3” Inari shrines, but it is actually a temple and features aspects of both Shinto and Buddhist architecture. We then continue on our way to Osaka, stopping at the iconic Osaka Castle. Tonight, why not consider taking the (optional) walking food and drink tour of “Japan’s Kitchen”?
